I’m an award-winning journalist and communications professional with over 15 years of experience producing compelling content and managing executive communications. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with various national publications, including  Travel+Leisure, Business Insider, The Sporting News, ConsumerAffairs, The Sun, and Heavy, delivering accurate stories that engage readers and elevate brands.

Born just outside New York City and raised between suburban New Jersey and the countryside of West Virginia, I grew up with a love for both the city life and rural charm. I always dreamed of writing for iconic publications, and after earning my Journalism degree from West Virginia University, I began my career with the second largest daily newspaper in the U.S., the New York Daily News.

My career has taken me from Washington, D.C., where I worked alongside a U.S. congressman, to southern West Virginia, where I reported on a wide range of local issues, from government affairs to the struggles of coal mining towns trying to survive amid a dying industry. Key highlights include conducting a one-on-one interview with former President Bill Clinton, covering breaking news in fast-paced newsrooms, and developing strategic communications plans.

Alongside my career, I’m a passionate mom of two, a lifestyle and entertainment writer, and a seasoned editor.

I currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina, with my husband, two daughters, and our Bernese Mountain Dog. If you’d like to know more about me or my work, feel free to ask—chances are, I’ve written about it!
